Forums, 'Zines, and info...

Andrew Berthoff has been running Piper & Drummer - now Pipes|Drums - since the days of trees and paper and printing presses...

The Bob Dunsire forums - probably the first on-line forum dedicated to piping & drumming.

The Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario is your link to everything you need to know in order to compete in this province.  Their website is very good, with on-line membership renewal, all the rules and regs, links to all the games and, of course, results...

Freeware...

NBXSoft offers a free MP3 recorder.  Basically, this little program can record anything that passes through your sound card and then save it in any format you want.  Very cool...

Music Services, Piping Schools...

Lindsay Davidson recently came to our attention - it's a free on-line school of piping, offered not only in English, but Polish!  Very cool...

The Captain is Ken Eller, and he has a site that offers a lot of information for the piper or drummer.

Jim McGillivray works really hard at setting music, and his pages of PipeTunes are a god-send...
